Cemetery History

Opened January 4, 2006, this cemetery’s 174-acres was originally part of Fort Hood and donated by the federal government.

The cemetery was sited on a hilltop overlooking the Texas Hill Country and was designed to serve veterans within a 25-county service area. The facility was master planned for 49,675 burial sites.
