From Watts Bar Dam, come east on State Highway 68 to Moore Cemetery Road. Turn right and go approximately one half mile until you see the Moore Cemetery sign with an arrow pointing up the hill on the left of the road.

The cemetery was started in 1893 and was located on part of the original James and Polly Moore homestead that stayed in the family until the late 1940's when it was bought by Hagler and Edgemon. At that time. the cemetery was cut out of the surrounding land and a deed was made and registered so that future generations of the Moore family could be buried there.

The cemetery is well kept and marked with signs leading to it. The cemetery contains 22 burial spots with 23 burials. For more information, contact: Ottis G. Moore, 240 Womac Hollow Road, Ten Mile, TN 37880.
