Grace Evangelical Cemetery
Hartleton, Union County, Pennsylvania

Lat: 40° 53' 59"N, Lon: 77° 10' 04"W

Contributed by Daniel L Loss, Dec 20, 2004 [daniel.loss@tevausa.com]. Total records = 88.

Grace Evangelical Cemetery is located in Pikeville on Route 45, approximately 2 miles west of Hartleton, on south side of road.

Little history of the cemetery is available. Grace Evangelical Church was founded by the Evangelical Association in 1866 in a schoolhouse along what used to be called the turnpike (now Route 45).

The church died out many years ago and the building no longer stands. It was most likely part of the Millmont Circuit. Burials no longer occur in the cemetery. On some maps it is called Pike Cemetery.

This transcription is from all existing and legible headstones, which I recorded using my digital camera on Nov 26, 2004.
