Children of Israel Cemetery
Forks Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania

Bushkill Dr and Arndt Rd, Easton PA 18040

Lat: 40° 42' 23"N, Lon: 075° 14' 54"W

Contributed by Richard Hrazanek, Mar 30, 2004 [rhrazanek@yahoo.com]. Total records = 81.

The cemetery is located on the corner of Bushkill Drive and Arndt Road, Easton PA 18040. It is to the left (east) of the entrance to the Arndt-Messinger Cemetery. and near the newer B'Nai Abraham Cemetery.

This Jewish cemetery was organized in 1942 by former members of B'Nai Abraham Congregation. They reaffiliated with the B'Nai Abraham Congregation in 1968.

Two of the stones were in Hebrew. I was able to have them translated with the help of David Ascalon.

This is a compilation of my findings when I walked and read all existing markers in the cemetery in the Fall of 2003. I have low-resolution digital photos of most of the stones if anyone wants a copy.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
