From Majorsville, West Virginia, travel south and make a left on to SR3043, which crosses briefly into Washington County, Pennsylvania. Follow for a short distance and make a right on to Day Road and cross a bridge that spans Enlow Creek and brings you into Greene County PA. Day Road turns back into Majorsville Road. Follow for less than a quarter of a mile. The park and cemetery will be on your right.

This cemetery and a small park marked by a sign, is in good condition and is maintained on a regular basis. There is an enormous stone obelisk with an eagle at the peak which was erected in 1935, with each side dedicated to the four great wars America had fought up until that time. Each side has its corresponding war's flag marker and American flag placed beside it. This cemetery and park proved to be a suprising find and the obelisk dedicated to all those who participated in the four great wars until that time is a wonderful monument to those who sacrificed so much.

I walked the cemetery on Nov 21, 2009 with my friend Charles Newman. This transcription is complete and includes all existing stones. I also have digital photographs of all the stones as well as many views of the cemetery itself and would share them with anyone interested.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
