Pine Grove Cemetery

Starting at Hopewell, PA (If the map shows Brodhead Road) turn west on Rt 151. Go past Rte 60 interchange, continuing on Rte 151. In about 4 miles turn left onto Park Road and go to Hookstown Grade Road, turning right and go about 1/2 mile. The cemetery sits on the right in trees. A small sign is nailed to a tree with the name of the cemetery.

According to the book "Locations and Origins of the Cemeteries of Beaver County, Pennsylvania" by Mark R Barnes, "The seeds of Mount Olivet United Presbyterian Church were sown in the old Pine Grove Baptist Church, which was about a mile east of the present Mt. Olivet Church, on the old Pittsburgh Road (now Rt. 151). Pine Grove Cemetery is triangular in shape, measuring 100'x125'x150'.

I walked and read this cemetery in November of 2008. It includes all existing and legible stones or markers.
