Submitted by Dave Mills, Mar 10, 2003 [donna.f.mills@verizon.net] Total records = 86.

Located at Spray, Oregon on Hwy 19/207. From the Coyote Café & Rimrock Room, Spray, OR, travel east. Turn right down an incline (grocery store on right after incline), and travel across the John Day River bridge. At approximately 1/4 mile, turn right at Spray Cemetery sign. After a steep incline, travel toward the cemetery on the hill.

You will have to open a gate to proceed to the cemetery. Be sure and close the gate behind you to keep the cattle out.

Spray Cemetery was established in 1874. It is still active and maintained.

Walked and transcribed by Donna Mills and I on Mar 01, 2003. Besides this transcription we found 5 unknown.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
