Holdman Cemetery
Holdman, Umatilla County, Oregon

Lat: 45° 52' 28"N, Lon: 118° 56' 40"W

Contributed by Dave Mills, Nov 08, 2003 [donna.f.mills@verizon.net]. Total records = 19.

Directions to cemetery: From I-82 at the Columbia River (Oregon side) turn east on Hwy 730. Travel nine miles on Hwy 730, then turn right (south) on Hwy 37. Travel 11.6 miles south on Hwy 37. As you approach and pass Hartle Road (on left), turn sharp right onto a dirt road that goes up an embankment. Holdman Cemetery is at the top of the embankment.

Holdman Cemetery is maintained by the Helix Cemetery Association, Helix, OR.

It could not be determined if there were unmarked graves at the site, although it appeared as if there were some unmarked because of the distance between the existing tombstones.

I walked and recorded these headstones on Nov 08, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
