Location: About 55 south of I-5 on Hwy 199 (Redwood Hwy). Turn left on Waldo Road and continue about three miles to the Waldo marker on your left. Watch carefully on your right for Waldo LookOut Road (sign says Waldo LO Road), and turn right. The road will fork a short distance in, take the left fork, continue over the rise and down into the gulch.

Saint Patrick Cemetery is located in Allen Gulch and is often referred to as the Allen Gulch Cemetery. It is the only Catholic Cemetery in the county and the last burial was in 1983.

This cemetery is gated and kept locked. This cemetery was pretty much destroyed by the hippies who took the headstones for hearthstones and flagstones. Many markers were replaced with PVC crosses, but the identities of those buried there and mostly lost.

I visited and transcribed this cemetery in the summer of 1999 from all existing stones.
