Dick Duck Cemetery
Catoosa, Rogers County, Oklahoma

Total records = 1,277.
East of Tulsa, OK on Interstate 44, get off on 193 E Ave. Go north about
1 mile to a stop light. Turn east and look to the south, the drive is
just around the corner.
The land for this cemetery was donated by Richard Duck, in the early 1800's. and the cemetery was named after him. The first burial listed is Bonnie Smith d. 1834, meaning the cemetery began about that time. It is now owned and maintained by the City of Catoosa, OK.
Dick Duck cemetery is old, however it is well maintained. Most of the broken stones or unreadable stones are from time not vandals.
There are 2 graves covered with a little house, looks like a dog house, they have Indian inscriptions on them. They are close to Blueford Duck in Section D.
I walked and recorded this cemetery in April 2003. Some records have come from family members & funeral home records.
