The cemetery is on Lawson Road (starts as "C" Street from town of Yale then name changes to Lawson Road) approximately 2 miles north of intersection of "C" Street and Chicago Avenue (aka Highway 51) in Yale OK.

Lawson Cemetery was established in 1896. It is now maintained by the Yale city council.
