After crossing the Putnam Bridge from Marietta, turn right onto Gilman Ave, then turn left onto Wood St. The cemetery will be on your right as the street ends.

The cemetery is 5.2 acres. Total known burials is over 1000. Oldest cemetery in Marietta was established in 1796. It is owned and maintained by the city of Marietta. Many older stones are gone, lost in floods of the Ohio & Muskingum Rivers, others are too worn to read.
