This cemetery is located at the intersection of Woodland Ave. and John Brown Rd., in Van Wert, OH. The Van Wert City council and the Trustees of Pleasant Twp. purchased the land in the spring of 1874, in the NE 1/4 of Sec. 15 of Pleasant Twp. After clearing the land, it was ready for use in the spring of 1875. It is a large cemetery, of 74 acres. It is well maintained and still in use at this time.
