From Convoy, take State Hwy 49 north about 1.5 miles, turn left onto US Hwy 30 and continue northwest for about 3 miles. Cemetery will be on the northeast/right side of the highway, and west of the Elm Sugar Grove Church Rd. exit.

The land for this cemetery passed thru several owners before it was sold by Frederick Roth to John McNeal, on 7 Apr 1874. The McNeal family continued to own this land until it was sold by Frank W. & Flora McNeal to Orlando F. Brandy on 9 Oct 1919. A notation on this deed states, "1/4 acre was to be reserved for cemetery purposes".

This seems to be a private family burial ground, which is no longer used for burials at the time of this reading.

These inscriptions were read by Eugene Smith in Aug 1980 and donated to the local library. I have copied his work with permission on Jun 03, 2006.
