Cemetery Description
Located on the southeast corner of East Main Street & Yaphank Ave, enclosed by a low, white picket fence. There is a plaque here erected by the Yaphank Historical Society in 2006, which reads...
"This cemetery was a family plot on the old David Homan farm. It was later known as the Old Gerard Place, and still later part of a game preserve."
On certain maps, it is named, "Homan and Buckingham Private Cemetery".
