Bronson Taylor's Stories and Pictures of Charlton He erected his saw mill and then returned for his family. In 1775 he returned and built his house where Mrs. Ambrose Clark (1959) lives. Another report states he built the first grist mill in town. In 1998 his stone is broken almost unreadable.
