Contributed by Janis Gillis, Sep 23, 2001 [jangl1946@yahoo.com].
Total records = 3.
This private property family cemetery only consist of three marked
grave stones. Behind each marked stone is a small stone with just the
letters of first and last names. It sets way back in the field on east
side of Phillips road on private farm land.
Records represent all people in this private cemetery. It's told there
is one burial of Abrahams first wife not marked.
Compiled Sep 23, 2001 from the tombstones.
This cemetery is the original Phillips family homestead. The tombstones
are set in cement sitting inside of a stone wall that looks like you
could imagine a vault without a lid. It sits far back in a farmers field
along Keg Creek bank. Engraved in the stone wall is 1814--Phillips--1914.The
present owner of the farm keeps the grave site mowed and fairly free
of weeds.
