Starting at the junction of Nevada highways 93 and 318, the cemetery can be found by traveling north on Nevada highway 318 (which traverses the farming community of Hiko, Nevada) for two miles. The cemetery is located on the hillside about 1/16 of a mile west of the highway midway between two small natural lakes called Nesbitt Lake on the north and Frenchy Lake on the south.

This was first used as a cemetery in 1916. It is well fenced and cared for even though there is no grass. Five of the graves are new within the last two years and four of these are still unmarked at this point. Two of the graves have headstones with no inscriptions, these headstones look like they are for stillborn infants. As far as I can tell all other graves are marked and part of my transcription. All but 2 of the graves (Hamrick) are extended family of the Schofields who originally settled the land between the two lakes mentioned above.

I believe the land the cemetery sits on is private property currently owned by Freda Schofield whose home is just north of the cemetery.

I walked and read this cemetery on Mar 30, 2007. This includes all existing and legible markers and stones.
