Elephant Butte cemetery is south east of the town of Elephant Butte, which is a sister city to Truth or Consequences located off Interstate 25. Today the town of Elephant Butte is one of the fastest growing towns in Sierra Co. It is located by the Elephant Butte lake which provides many recreational activities.
