Princessville was originally part of the Brearley family holdings and is located on Princeton Pike (c. 1807) at the corner with the historic Meadow Road, anchored at each end by two extant 18th-c. Brearley homes. Meadow Road is the road into the 1761 Brearley House. Also, hidden in the woods across Princeton Pike from Princessville is Spring Grove, birthplace of David Brearley, NJ Signer of the U.S. Constitution. David Brearley is buried in the St. Michael’s churchyard in Trenton.

Cemetery Records

Records published below were transcribed from tombstone inscriptions by David Podmajersky during visits to the cemetery in 2012. He had initially published them on his own website, "Distant Cousin", which went offline in 2016. We were able to salvage his transcription and republish it here.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
