Contributed by Sandi McCoy, Oct 19, 2007 [mlmsam50@threeriver.net]. Total records = 18.

To reach the Immanuel Cemetery, drive west from Jamison for about 1/2 mile on the county road which runs along the state border with South Dakota. The cemetery is on the south side of the road.

This cemetery is owned and maintained by Immanuel Lutheran Church and is still being used. There is evidence of two unmarked graves. No records are available. It dates back to the 1940s judging from the stones.

I transcribed this from my visit to the cemetery on Oct 12, 2007. This includes all existing and legible stones and markers.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
