Directions: From the "Y" intersection of Hwy. 55 (Broad St.) and Wake Chapel Rd., Fuquay-Varina, go .3 mile south on Wake Chapel Rd. to the church and cemetery on your right. They are visible from the intersection.A large and well maintained cemetery, the final resting place of many of the early settlers and their descendants. The church, school and cemetery are located on about 8 acres in the heart of Fuquay-Varina. The cemetery is being expanded. Parking is available in front of the cemetery next to the church as well as in the rear of the cemetery,accessible by a paved road.
I surveyed this cemetery in the spring of 2003.
