I have transcribed from records of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which were graciously supplied by Curtis T. Pope, Realty Specialist, NC Mgmt. Team.

Tate Cemetery was designated to be relocated to site #1, Lat: 35° 56' 54"N, Lon: 78° 34' 28"W, which contains approx. 1.59 acres located off NCSR # 2000, 2200 feet north of the Neuse River and is bounded on the east by the original Falls Community Cemetery. Access is across existing roads through the original cemetery area.
