Lat: 35° 52' 12"N, Lon: 78° 27' 00"W

Contributed by Deans Eatman, Jun 18, 2004 [deans_eatman@hotmail.com]. Total records = 18.

To reach this cemetery get on 401 North in Raleigh N.C. Just past Neuse River, turn right on Mitchell Mill Rd. go abt. 4 mi and turn right on Fix It Shop Rd. Go until road dead ends at SR 1003. As soon as you turn left onto State road 1003, the Jones cemetery can be seen on the right.

This small family cemetery is enclosed in a small stone wall about 3 or 4 Ft. high and the graves are inside. I found this cemetery condition to be wonderful, grass well cut, very well maintained.

Transcribed from tombstones from my visit to the cemetery on Dec 20, 2006.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
