From the intersection of Blue Ridge Rd. and Duraleigh Rd (SR 1664), in Raleigh, at the traffic light where the roads fork, take Blue Ridge Rd., which now is (SR 1670) and go .25 mi. The church is on the left, parking ample.

This cemetery is located under a huge oak tree in front of Saint Paul Christian Church, at 3331 Blue Ridge Rd., (SR 1670), at the intersection of Edgemont Rd., Raleigh, NC 27612

The land was purchased by the church from the Holderfield family who informed the church officials that there were several graves there but only one is able to be identified.

I was directed to this grave by a family member. This one gravemarker, situated over the only known grave location, was placed there by her son. The other graves at this site, are all unmarked, occupants unknown.

Transcribed by Shirley Olson from a tombstone on Apr 15, 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
