Directions: Hwy. 401 south (Fayetteville Rd.) to Umstead Rd., Fuquay Varina, approximately 2 mi. south of Wake Technical College. The church and cemetery are on the west side of the road.
This cemetery is the property of and maintained by the Hilltop FWB Church of Fuquay Varina NC.
About a dozen graves on the sweeping front lawn of the church. Total
land in front is about 2 acres with plenty of room for more burials.
NOTE: Since I surveyed this cemetery, the Hilltop Free Will Baptist
Church, in Fuquay Varina, Wake Co., NC, has built a new church
and put the old church on the market. The graves that were located
in front of the old church were moved by Suggs Funeral Home, Fuquay
Varina, NC, in November of 2006 to other locations which are shown
below.
I walked the cemetery and recorded the inscriptions on 17 Jul 2002.
