This abandoned cemetery became visible recently when a field was cleared
for future development. Located on Holly Springs Rd, Raleigh NC, across
the road from houses numbered 6608 and 6604, the estimated street address
is 6607 Holly Springs Rd.
Directions from Raleigh: Take the beltline (440) west to to the U.S.
1 and Hwy. 64 exit, which is Tryon Road (SR 1009) if you go east. Go
east on Tryon Road, cross Kildaire Farm Road (1300), continue east,
cross the Cary Parkway (3397) and the next major intersection and traffic
light will be at Holly Springs Road (SR 1152). Turn right and perhaps
a half mile will bring you to this small collection of tombstones on
your left, well back from the road.
