9125 Oak Grove Rd.

Going from Locust to Stanfield on Hwy 200, turn right on Love's Chapel Rd. The name of the road will change to Love Mill Rd. Bear left at the fork onto Oak Grove Rd. Measure .6 mile; the next dirt road to the left is 9125 Oak Grove Rd.

This is a drive way to the home of Mrs. Green. The cemetery is to the right about half way to her house (on the left) and is in a crop field abutting a grove of trees and is fenced in. Mrs Green graciously allows access to this site.

This list is not a complete list of the burial sites. There are about 50 to 60 unmarked graves.

My list of this cemetery are on site reading and recording of the legible tombstones, when I visited the cemetery in January 2003. I also compared my work with an earlier history of the cemetery by Eunice L Hartsell.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
