Austin, Abner D., Co. I., 24th Michigan Infantry, Born 1846, residence listed as Redford, Michigan. Enlisted Aug. 2, 1862 at Redford, Michigan. Wounded July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Transferred to Veteran Reserve Corps. Discharged on June 26, 1865, Washington DC. Died in 1901.
Gunning, John R., Co. I, 9th Michigan Infantry, Born 1842. Residence listed as Farmington, Michigan. Enlisted as corporal on Aug. 15, 1861 at Farmington, Michigan. Promoted to sergeant Dec. 7, 1863. Promoted to 2nd Lt. in Company I. Mustered out September 15, 1865, at Nashville, Tenn. Died in 1918.
