Located off of Highway 35 North, in the Bunker Hill Community

With only one marker remaining, the Lorenzo Cox Cemetery is a small family cemetery established near the home of the famed Marion County woodsman Lorenzo Cox. Vegetation has completely taken over, and a large oak tree stands in the dead center of the cemetery, supposedly over the site of Lorenzo's grave.

This reading was done by Stanley W. Arnold Jr and Louise Anderson in October, 1986 and this information comes from a book they published entitled "The Marion County Mississippi Cemetery Record." I am simply posting their information.
