Starting the trip to this cemetery at the Agricola Baptist Church in Agricola, Mississippi. Leaving the church you will head south on highway 613, going 4.8 miles. Here you will see a large sign on your right for the Movella Baptist Church, continue south on highway 613 for .2 (tenths) of a mile. Here there will be a road on your left (the sign was missing), turn left onto this road and go .2 (tenths) of a mile. You will see the Tanner Family Cemetery road on your left, take this left turn and now you will see the Tanner Cemetery about 100 yards down this dirt road on your right.

The Tanner Cemetery is a small family cemetery and we found it well kept. There were four concrete slabs, that had faint etching on them but I was unable to get enough information to list them correctly. Judging from the existing stones, this cemetery dates back to the 1930s.

Timmy Tolbert and I walked this cemetery on Feb 23, 2009, taking all information from headstone inscriptions and one concrete slab.
