Leave Lucedale, Mississippi on Highway 613 south, you will stay on this road until you approach Agricola, Mississippi. Here you will come to the intersection with Highway 612 on your left. On your right across from this intersection, you will see the Finch Family Cemetery. It sits about 100 yards off the side of the road, and is in good shape.

This is a family cemetery and the family provides the maintenance for it. There are three Finch Cemeteries in this area, with this one at the intersection of Hwy 612 and Hwy 613 on the west side of the intersection. It is north of the one that is also on this road. The other one is east of here on New Hope Church Road.

I walked the cemetery and all information was gathered from headstone inscriptions and temporary grave markers, when I walked it on Feb 19, 2008.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
