This cemetery is visible from I-70. Driving east on I-70 (toward St. Louis), take Exit 188, this is the Jct of I-70 & Hwy A & B (Hwy A goes north & Hwy B goes south), exit south on Hwy B to Camp Branch Drive (frontage road), turn right or west on Camp Branch Road, the cemetery is .8 miles west and is on the south side of the road.

This is a very old cemetery and has a lot of broken and unreadable stones. Some of the stones were piled around the base of a tree. It is hard to say how many people are buried here. I would consider this cemetery in very poor condition. It is in need of tender loving care. The oldest readable burial was in 1850 & the oldest readable birth date was 1793, the last burial date was in 1961.

I visited and read this cemetery using my digital camera in June 2007, completing this transcription on Sep 20, 2007.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
