Pulaski County, Missouri

Lat: 37° 45' 38"N, Lon: 92° 03' 10"W
Spring Creek Twp, Sec 17

Contributed by Sharon Macormic, Apr 12, 2005 [shamac@fidnet.com]. Total records = 32.

Starting from Rolla, Missouri (exit #184) take Interstate 44 west, travel approximately 15 miles to J Highway, exit #169. At top of ramp turn left. Travel approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto gravel roadway (sorry no road sign available), watch for signage annotating Hale Cemetery. Travel approx. 2/10 of a mile to Hale Cemetery. The cemetery will be on your left.

This cemetery was established in 1872. It is quite a different cemetery. Someone has taken the time to mark a lot of the graves with white pipe crosses. They have also made up a chart and placed it at the gate of the names that are known and in what row. There were some newer burials that were not on the list. I did not find out who owns and maintains it.

Denise & Mike Seevers and I walked this cemetery in October of 2004.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
