To reach this cemetery in Independence, from the intersection of Hwy 24 & Blue Mills Road, go east 3.7 miles, turn left on N. Perrin Road, go .2 miles. The cemetery will be on your left.

This cemetery is enclosed by a modern white fence and though the monuments are old they are mostly still standing. The earliest grave is dated 1837.

My husband and I along with our good friends Jerry & Nancy Stuart, read this cemetery using a digital camera on Nov 1, 2008. This is a listing of all know graves taken from the tombstones.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
