From East Grand Forks: Take Highway 12 until it runs into Highway 220, take 220 south for about 3 1/2 miles. Make a left turn at County Road 223 and it is on the west side of the road.

There is information on it in Cemeteries of Polk County, Volume 9, Red River Genealogical Society 1988.

This cemetery is part of the Bygland Lutheran Church. The church and the main cemetery is one mile north on Highway 220. There are two Bygland cemeteries, South Bygland being the smaller of the two.

I walked this cemetery in Feb of 2002, last walk through was Apr 10, 2002.
