To reach cemetery drive north on Shelby Road and you will see it just north of Regency Drive on the east side of the road, this is just south of 25 Mile Road.

The cemetery was establish in the early 1800s by the Curtis family.Presently the cemetery is under going major repairs as many stones are broken and need replacing. A local boy scout has taken on this project for his eagle scouting requirements. Contact Mr. Norm Bawkon at the Shelby Historical Society for additional information.

I have recorded all graves that are presently identified with markers as of Jun 09, 2006. Perhaps when this cemetery is all back in order new graves and markers will appear. I will stop again in the fall and see if there has been any progress.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
