This cemetery is situated at the corner of Green Corner Road and
Pratt Road (County Road 62) 1 mile west of the village of Hadley,
MI.
This cemetery was established on 17 May 1879 by the Second
Burial Society. It is sometimes called Greenwood Cemetery.
This is a very well-maintained cemetery, and is under the management
of the Hadley Township board.
A basis for this transcription was the 1981-82 transcription
completed by the Lapeer Genealogical Society. Some of the burials
were transferred from the Hadley Village Cemetery to Green Corners
Cemetery years ago. Standard genealogical resources were used
to search incomplete information. Special thanks for the Obituary
Files located at the Lapeer Genealogical Society research room.
I walked the cemetery on Apr 23, 28 and 29, 2010 to verify and
update the burials.
