To get to Banfield Cemetery take M-37 South, to Pifer Road, turn
right (west), go to Banfield Rd, turn left, (South) go to Osborne
Road, turn right (west) about 1/4 mile. Cemetery is on the north
side of W. Osborne Road.
Banfield Cemetery owned and maintained by Johnstown Township
and is still being used today. It originally was the cemetery
for the small town of Banfield, which is only a community now.
This was first transcribed on Dec 24, 1999. Ruth McMonigle and
I walked this again cemetery in July 2007. We added over 300 names
to our list. I then went to the library and court house for additional
dates.
