Enterprise Road Cemetery
Limerick, York County, Maine

From Limerick take Rte. 5 South about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Enterprise Rd, which will start out as a paved road and then turn to gravel surface after about 1/4 mi. The cemetery is in about 1/2 to 3/4 miles on the right.

There is no sign, so I do not know the name for this cemetery. It could also be a family cemetery. The earliest death date is 1819 from the listing below. It appears to have been inactive since about 1886.

It is now in fairly good condition considering it's age, thanks to a local Limerick man, who the director of the historical society in Limerick tells me volunteered to clean it up and fix the stone wall. Almost all visible stones are readable, one stone is broken badly, there are many small stones that appear to be footstones. I also have photos most of the Pierce stones.
