In Mechanicsville, from the intersection of Highway 5 and Old Village Avenue, go southeast on Old Village Avenue for .6 miles. The cemetery is on the east side of the road behind Mechanicsville Elementary School.

This is a small family cemetery. There are two headstones and one concrete vault. The one headstone is a big one that has been broken in two. It lists all the names of who is buried at the little cemetery. The other headstone is a military one. The vault has the remains of the Locke and Bradford families who once lived in a manor called Locke’s Estate.
