Hatton Family Cemetery
Prince George County, Maryland
13000 Livingston Road
Fort Washington, Maryland
Lat: 38° 42' 38"N, Lon: 76° 58' 37"W
Contributed by Anne Braun, Jun 29, 2004 [annieb1961@comcast.net].
Total records = 11.
In Piscataway, from the intersection of Highway 223 (Floral Park Rd)
and Livingston Rd, go north on Livingstone Rd for 1.25 miles until you
reach Chalfont Road. Turn on Chalfont Road and park there. Walk north
from Chalfont Road to the west side of Livingston Road next to a white
wall, walk about 400 feet. There is an opening and the cemetery is right
there.
This cemetery is in fair condition. Somebody comes in to mow the grass,
but the headstones are covered in wild plants and vines. It was sort
of hard to read the headstones. There are 2 headstones that are broken
and 1 that is missing. The first burial took place in 1798, the last
in 1965.
I visited this burial site on Jun 28, 2004. Also compared my readings
with the book called "Stones and Bones, Cemetery Records of Prince George
County Maryland. Copyright 1984."
