Duvall Family Cemetery
Croom, Prince George County, Maryland

7414 South Osborne Road, Croom MD

Contributed by Anne Braun, Oct 03, 2004 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 5.

From the Osborne Shopping Center, from the intersection of South Osborne Road and Highway 301 (Crain Highway), go west/northwest for about 5 miles until you come to a srea with four mailboxes. Turn north and go up on the road for about 150 yards. The cemetery is on a hill, between two houses.

A small family cemetery. The land was once owned by the Duvall Family which names their property "Greenfield". Today, it is high on a hill, the headstones are in a row near two old trees. The cemetery is being well taken care of.

This is from my visit on Oct 02, 2004. This transcription contains all existing and legible headstones plus I compared my notes with the book "Stones and Bones" published in 1984, and found one other name.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
