In Germantown, from the intersection of Highways 117 and 118, go east on 117 for .2 miles until you reach Village Fountain Drive. Turn onto Village Fountain Drive and go north about .1 miles. The cemetery is on the southeast corner of the intersection of Village Fountain Drive and Rising Sun Lane.

This cemetery has over 50 unmarked burials in it. I tried to obtain all of the information about the people buried here in the mid 1990s but to no avail. For many years, this little cemetery stood neglected.

In October 1995, the Boys Scout Troop from the United Church of Christ and I cleared and cleaned the cemetery. In 1996, the housing development who owned the property decided to beautify this cemetery. Since then the cemetery has been landscaped. It now has a black iron fence around it, and new trees and is a beautiful little cemetery.

The cemetery contains three headstones, a broken piece of a headstone, and a granite stone that says, "Unknown Grave".

I revisited this cemetery on Dec 12, 2005.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
