Lat: 39° 27' 15"N, Lon: 77° 19' 39"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Mar 10, 2003 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 17.

In Walkersville, from the intersection of Highways 194 and 26, go east on Highway 26 for about 1.5 miles. The cemetery is behind the church on the north side of the road.

This is a small cemetery, which is owned by Mount Pleasant United Church. The last burial took place on 1956. Some of the headstones are set in cement and are broken in two or three pieces.

I walked through this cemetery on Mar 09, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
