Parnham Family Cemetery
Charles County, Maryland

Hwy 234 and Old Sycamore Rd, Newport, Md

Lat: 38° 24' 55"N, Lon: 76° 53' 36"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Feb 27, 2004 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 7.

In Glasva, from the intersection of Highways 234 and 301, go east on Highway 234 for 2.5 miles until you reach Old Sycamore Road. From Old Sycamore Road, go 1 driveway east on the north side of the road. Turn there and go north for .4 miles until you meet a dead end. Turn west and go up to the house. The cemetery is behind the barn about 50 yards from the house.

This family cemetery is in fair condition with one broken headstone and 2 headstones that have sunk into the ground. The burials are from the Parnham Family who once owned the Saint Claire property.

I visited this one on Feb 05, 2005.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
