From the intersection of Highways 210 and 227, turn onto Highway 227 and go north for 3.5 miles until you reach a road that is called Branitan Place. Turn onto Branitan Place and go along the road in a northeast direction until you see a fork in the road. There is a sign that says 6905 Branitan Place. Turn onto that road and go .6 miles until you get to the end of the road. There is a house there. Walk about 50 yards in an easterly direction until you reach the cemetery.

This cemetery is on property that is called "Locust Grove" which was a plantation next to Marshall Hall and across the river from Mount Vernon. I found it in good shape. The present owners will be using this as a family cemetery as well.

I obtained some of my information from and inventory taken by the Daughters of the American Revolution in Charles County back in the late 1930s/early 1940.

I walked and read this cemetery on Mar 10, 2007.
