In La Plata, from the intersections of Highway 488 and 6, go 2.0 miles north/northeast on Highway 488 until you reach Hawkins Gate Road. Turn there and go south/southwest for 1.5 miles. The cemetery is on the west side of the road in a housing development.

A small family cemetery that started in 1770. It has an old iron gate around it and it is taken care of. The last burial took place in 1932.

I walked and read this cemetery on Feb 16, 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
