To reach take Rte 123 East of Route 3 for about 5 miles into Norwell
Center. Turn right on River Road. The cemetery is on your left in
front of the Unitarian Universalist Church.
This is a very large cemetery surrounded by white fences and stone
walls in the center of Norwell. Part of it resides in between River
Rd and West St at the fork, and the larger section is between West
St and Rte 123. A sign marks it as “First Parish Cemetery, Founded
1642.” It is well groomed with many older broken and unreadable
stones.
