Rose Memorial Park Cemetery is owned by the Italian Cemetery Association (Salvedor Faldetta, President) and was established in 1927. James Brooks (985-345-5576) is the cemetery manager. The tombstone inscriptions are a complete recording of all persons interred in the cemetery. The grave locations are those used by the cemetery. The cemetery is maintained daily and is in excellent condition The cemetery also contains a columbarium and a mausoleum.

The Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum is located in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery. Phase I (constructed in 1962) is the West entrance of the building. Phase II is the East entrance of the building. Phase III starts at the North end of Phase II. Phase IV starts at the North end of Phase I. All inscriptions are a complete recording of all persons interred in the mausoleum. Mausoleum locations are those used by the cemetery.

The Rose Memorial Park Columbarium is located in front of the Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum. All inscriptions are a complete recording of all persons interred in the columbarium. Columbarium locations are those used by the cemetery.

James Brooks and I have compiled this transcription which is complete up to Aug 17, 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
